Brussels, 24/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The 11th EU-Africa ministerial troika, which took place at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa on 20-21 November, brought a positive assessment by the European Union and the African Union of progress achieved in implementing the joint Africa-EU strategy, as adopted at the Lisbon summit in December 2007, and its first action plan (for 2008-2010) which is divided into eight thematic partnerships (see progress report in EUROPE 9781).
