24/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 24d November, the European Commission granted clearance under the EU Merger Regulation to the acquisition of sole control of Constellation Energy Group Inc. (Constellation) of the US by MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company (MidAmerican) also of the US. MidAmerican is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. The price of acquisition was $4.7 billion.
