Brussels, 24/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The "Eastern Partnership " to be proposed by the European Commission on 3 December aims to reinforce the European neighbourhood policy (ENP) but should not be seen as a "antechamber" to a future accession of the six countries in question (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus), said Director General for External Relations at the European Commission, Eneko Landaburu, in an interview with EUROPE on 20 November.
