Brussels, 24/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The proposed regulation aiming to oblige car builders to bring the average level of emissions from their fleet of new cars in the EU down to 130 grammes by 2012, according to the initial proposal of the European Commission, or between 2012 and 2015 according to the Council (EUROPE 9774), was set to enter its decisive phase on the evening of Monday 24 November, with a meeting between the French Presidency and the rapporteur of the European Parliament,...
