24/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 24 November, the European Commission granted clearance to the joint venture between Omron Corporation (Omron) of Japan and Ficosa International Sa (Ficosa) of Spain. The joint venture will develop, manufacture and sell ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for cars. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (L.C./transl.jl)
