Brussels, 24/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament employment and social affairs committee met in extraordinary session in Strasbourg on Monday 17 November. It gave first reading adoption, by 36 votes to one, with 10 abstentions, to the recast directive on European works councils, which is being examined under the co-decision procedure.
