Sony-Ericsson, the fifth biggest mobile phone manufacturer in the world has registered its first net loss in five years. Sony-Ericsson, a Swedish-Japanese enterprise recorded a net loss of €25 million, as opposed to a €267 million profit the previous year. This summer, the manufacturer announced job losses of around 2,000, 1.7% of its workforce. (I.L. / trad.: rh)
