World Summit of Regions focuses on climate change

Brussels, 20/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - “Climate Change - Regions in Action” - such is the theme of the World Summit of Regions to be held in Saint Malo (France) on 29-30 October at a proposal from the Brittany region and its president, Jean-Yves le Drian. Some 450 representatives of the regions will attend, together with representatives from member states, the EU, NGOs, civil society and several UN agencies.
