Council adopts directive on minimum training for seafarers

Brussels, 20/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 20 October, the EU formally adopted, without debate, the directive on minimum training for seafarers. This recasting of Directive 2001/25/EC is in order to incorporate the necessary amendments for the adjustment to the regularity procedure with scrutiny.
