Economic and social partners seek active involvement in Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue

Rabat, 20/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - Economic and Social Councils (ESC) and similar institutions of the EU and the Mediterranean region meeting in Rabat from 14-16 October reaffirmed civil society's essential role in the EuroMed process, and in particular that of structures grouping employers' and trade unions' associations, a reference to the ESC model that does not exist in all partner countries.
