19/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - Kevin O'Higgins has been appointed as Judge of Court of First Instance of the European Communities until 31 August 2013. He succeeds John D. Cooke. Who has been a judge at the Court of first Instance since 10 January 1996. Mr O'Higgins was born in 1946 and was educated at University College Dublin.
