Brussels, 22/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 6 August 2007 the European Commission declared that it would lodge an appeal at the European Court of Justice against the Court of First Instance decision of 11 July. This ruling calls for the Commission to pay compensation to the Schneider Electric company for the damages it incurred due to the Commission's refusal to approve the take over of the Legrand SA company (EUROPE 9466).
