82% of British people want referendum

Brussels, 22/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - According to a survey in the Daily Telegraph on Monday, the British prime minister, Gordon Brown, who is expected to meet the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, on Wednesday, could lose almost a quarter of Labour voters (24%) if it does not submit the “amending” treaty to a referendum.
