22/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 8 August 2007 the European Commission cleared the proposed acquisition of SSM Coal B.V. of the Netherlands by the American company Oxbow. The Commission's investigation found that the proposed transaction would not impede effective competition in the European Economic Area. (cd)
