Brussels, 22/08/2007 (Agence Europe) - On 17 August the Commission approved Slovakia's National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF). In this document the Slovak authorities describe how they are going to invest €11.36 million of structural funds allocated them for 2007-13 to stimulate grown and jobs.
Broken down into nine operational programmes, the priorities are as follows: infrastructure and regional accessibility: construction and modernisation of public infrastructure in transport, environment, education, social arena and urban policy; support for knowledge economy development: investment in services and electronic content, R&D and company competitiveness; human resources and education: support for employment, improvement of labour quality to respond to needs of knowledge economy, social insertion and underprivileged.
