Brussels, 25/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has allocated €18 million in humanitarian aid to strengthen local communities' response capacities to natural disasters in the Caribbean, South America and South Asia - three regions which are particularly susceptible to volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones, tropical storms, drought, flooding and landslides.
