25/07/2007 (Agence Europe) - Following examination under the simplified review procedure, the Commission has authorised the acquisition of sole control of FW No4 Limited, the UK DIY and gardening retailer, by Promontoria Holding IV B.V. of the Netherlands, controlled by the US private equity investment company Cerberus. Through FW, the acquisition also includes the operating companies of the Focus DIY Group, which are active in the same sector and region as FW. (cd)
