Commission to make code of conduct available to prevent abandonment of illegal immigrants at sea

Brussels, 30/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - In the face of the refusal of certain Member States to take charge of illegal immigrants rescued at sea, the Commission announced on Wednesday its intention to draw up a code of conduct for Member States to clarify the responsibilities incumbent on all of them.
