Simplification of common organisations must remain a purely technical exercise, according to Niels Busk report

Brussels, 11/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 8 May, the Parliamentary agriculture and rural development committee adopted the report by Danish Liberal MEP Niels Busk, agreeing with the Commission proposal that the existing sector-specific market organisations (CMOs) should be merged into a single regulation (see EUROPE 9390 for the reaction of the Council of Ministers).
