Commission authorises two acquisitions

Brussels, 11/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 11 May, the Commission gave the green light to the proposed acquisition of sole control of Eastweb S.p.A. of Italy by Swisscom of Switzerland. Both companies provide telecommunications services. The Commission also granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of Armacup Maritime Services Ltd and Agencie Maritime Holdings Ltd, both of New Zealand, by two maritime transport operators, Norwegian Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS and the...
