Commission opens proceedings against gas suppliers RWE and ENI for suspected abuse of dominant position

Brussels, 11/05/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 11 May, the European Commission announced it had opened proceedings against two major gas suppliers, the Italian ENI group and the German RWE group. This decision follows inspections carried out on the premises of the companies and their subsidiaries in 2006.
