Commission allocates €600,000 humanitarian aid to victims of floods in Jakarta

Brussels, 07/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to grant €600,000 of humanitarian aid to help people suffering from recent floods in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The funds from the Commission's Humanitarian Aid department (ECHO) are destined to help the estimated 340,000 severely affected people in the whole area.
