New investments agreed for Port of Tallinn

Brussels, 07/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 7 February, the European Commission decided to approve funding for the construction of new infrastructure in the Port of Tallinn, Estonia. The total cost of plans to extend the eastern part of the Port of Tallinn will be €116,067 million. The objective of the work is to be able to handle the foreseeable increase in the volume of freight entering this port. The Commission concluded that the investment included no state aid.
