1st ACP festival of culture to promote diversity of cultures and culture industries of ACP group

Brussels, 04/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - For the first time in its history, the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States (linked through the Cotonou Agreement) will showcase a festival of ACP culture in the Dominican Republic, the capital of ACP culture in 2006. This event will take place on 14-21 October and will be preceded by the 2nd meeting of ACP Ministers of Culture on 13 October.
