04/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - Speaking to an auditorium of ministers and representatives of the business community at the annual conference of Cernobbio on 3 September, the former European Commissioner for the Internal Market and Competition, Mario Monti, urged the Prodi government to continue on the path of reform, despite the difficulties. Those heads of government who, like Aznar and Blair, modernised with courage, "were re-elected", Mr Monti pointed out.
