Brussels, 04/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - Speaking on the sidelines of the annual Cernobbio (Italy) meeting, attended by Commissioners Neelie Kroes (Competition) and Charlie McCreevy (Internal Market), as well as Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi and his Finance Minister Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa, Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs said the issue of whether Russia would be able to fulfil its commitments on natural gas supply to the Community market this winter was “quite worrying”.
