Brussels, 04/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 4 September, the European Commission announced that it had sent 1.6 million doses of foot-and-mouth vaccine to Turkey, a country where the disease is endemic. The trivalent vaccine is formulated from antigens stored in Community foot-and-mouth antigen reserves.
