Luxemburg, 03/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice has just provided criteria for interpreting the European regulation on insolvency proceedings in a case in which the Irish and Italian courts are claiming the right to declare Eurofood insolvent. The Irish Supreme Court referred the case to the European Court of Justice and asked for guidance on how to interpret the Council regulation of 29 May 2000 (No. 1346/2000) on insolvency proceedings.
