Candidates from 11 countries compete for European inventor of the year prize

Brussels, 11/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - Chaired by former Dutch Prime Minister Wim Kok, the jury in charge of awarding the “European Inventor of the Year” prize has narrowed its choice down to inventors from eleven countries (Australia, USA and nine European countries). Jointly set up by the European Commission and the European Patent Office (EPO), the prize will be announced on 3 May at Autoworld in Brussels.
