Brussels, 11/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The panel set up to assess the European Capitals of Culture 2010 application packages recommends that Essen (Germany), Pécs (Hungary) and Istanbul (Turkey) be designated. The dossier on these three cities will be submitted to the Culture Council in the second half of 2006, under the Finnish presidency and which will ordinarily make the final choice Next November.
