Thirteen countries want additional measures to consolidate the Common Agricultural Policy

Brussels, 15/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - On the initiative of French Agriculture Minister Dominique Bussereau, thirteen EU counties - France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Finland, Luxemburg, Cyprus, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Lithuania - have signed a “memorandum on the implementation and future of the reformed Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)”. These countries, which are trying to bring Germany on board, will present the above-mentioned document at the Agriculture Council...
