Brussels, 15/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - After Spain, Portugal and Finland, the Netherlands has announced that it will lift all restrictions on access for workers from the new Member States from Eastern and Central Europe to its labour market from 1st May. Safeguards put in place following the accession of these countries to the EU in 2004 have, according to the press, allowed The Hague to limit to 30,000 the number of employed workers from these countries established in the Netherlands today.
