President Barroso speaks on Spring summit preparation and Lisbon agenda

Brussels, 15/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will be meeting for its plenary session on 15-16 March in Brussels under the Chairmanship of Anne-Marie Sigmund. The President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso will address the assembly on Thursday morning on the theme of the “Lisbon Agenda: Preparation fort the European Spring Council”.
