Slump in enthusiasm about future of Europe in recent Eurobarometer poll

Brussels, 05/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The most recent Eurobarometer poll (carried out between May and June 2005 before the outcome of the French and Dutch referendums on the European Constitution) shows a decline in various indicators: people in Europe today are more critical of the Union than when polled in the autumn of 2004 and seem less enthusiastic about the future of Europe.
