Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa, new president of Jacques Delors's and Pascal Lamy's study and research group

Brussels, 05/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa, a member of the board of the European Central Bank until last June, became the new president of Notre Europe, the "study and research group" founded in 1996 in Paris by the former President of the European Commission, Jacques Delors, on 3 October. Mr Padoa-Schioppa was the head of the Directorate General for Economic and Monetary Affairs in the Delors Commission in the 1980s and 90s, before joining the Banca d'Italia in Rome then...
