Jo Leinen and Richard Corbett said idea of renegotiating Constitution in 2006 is 'premature'

Brussels, 05/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Parliament's Constitutional Affairs Committee, German Social Democrat Jo Leinen, and British Labour MEP Richard Corbett, who is also a member of the Constitutional Affairs Committee, have rejected as 'premature' the idea mooted by British Liberal Democrat Andrew Duff and Austrian Green Johannes Voggenhuber of renegotiating the text of the Constitutional Treaty in 2006 (see Europe 9028, 9033 and 9041).
