Luxembourg, 05/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - In response to the catastrophic floods that hit Romania during the summer of 2005 the European Investment Bank (EIB) is considering establishing an emergency programme of up to EUR 600 million for the financing of necessary repairs and upgrading of Romania's damaged road and rail infrastructure.
