EU funding for researchers round the world to fight ticks and tick-borne diseases

Brussels, 16/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - Launched in 1996, the Integrated Consortium on Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases (ICTTD-3) is a Coordinated Action financially supported by INCO, the International Cooperation program of the European Union (1,842 000 euro for 48 months). The aim of the CA is to support a research program on ticks and tick-borne diseases jointly executed by a consortium of 43 institutions in 29 different countries (150 researchers in total), directed by a Steering Committee....
