16/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance under to the acquisition of sole control of Arcos Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH and Quester Lizenzmarketing GmbH (Quester) of Austria by CRH plc. of Ireland. CRH is an international holding company, active in the production and distribution of building materials. Quester operates and franchises builders merchants' outlets across Austria. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
