Reasoned opinions against Ireland and Czech Republic on speed governors

Brussels, 11/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has sent reasoned opinions to Ireland and the Czech Republic, which have not yet sent to the Commission measures for transposing the directive on the fitting and use of speed governors (Directive 2002/85/EC, amending Directive 92/6/EEC), the deadline of 1 January 2005 being well past. The amended directive makes it compulsory for passenger-carrying vehicles with more than 8 seats including the driver and registered as of 1 January 2005,...
