Commission continues infringement proceedings against twelve Member States for persistent failure to comply with legislation

Brussels, 11/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to cross another stage in infringement procedure against twelve Member Sates which, despite several calls to order, persistently fail to comply with the directive on strategic environmental assessment of certain environmental plans and programmes (Directive 2001/42/EC, the so-called SEA).
