EEA Council reiterates importance of European agencies such as EFSA for EEA/EFTA countries

Brussels, 29/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - At its 23rd session, which took place last week in Luxembourg, the Council of the European Economic Area (EEA) noted that the enlarged EEA is going about its work satisfactorily. It took note of the activity report of the joint EEA committee, which noted that the new rules on the internal market are quickly being incorporated into the EEA agreement (see EUROPE 8942).
