Anne-Marie Sigmund welcomes adoption of guiding principles for sustainable development

Brussels, 23/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - Despite the disappointment with the results of the European Summit of 16-17 June, the president of the Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Anne-Marie Sigmund, welcomed the adoption of the guiding principles for sustainable development, describing them as a 'silver lining'.
