23/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - During a conference organised by the Lisbon Council on modernising the European social model (EUROPE 8974), Commissioner for social policy, Vladimir Spidla, said that he was certain that an agreement on financial perspectives would be reached under the British presidency of the Council of the EU because “Tony Blair will do everything to make his presidency a success”.
