23/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The leader of the Egyptian opposition, Ayman Nour (ELGHAD Party), was prevented from leaving Egyptian territory for Brussels where he was to take part, on Thursday, in the public hearing of the European Parliament on freedom of expression and parliamentary democracy in the EuroMed region. His deputy, Weael Nawara, who replaced him, told EUROPE that the reason given by the Egyptian government was that Parliamentarian Nour is currently under judiciary proceedings....
