01/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The chairman of the parliamentary delegation for cooperation with Mashrek, French Socialist Béatrice Patrie, will be in Syria from12 to 18 June before examination by the European Parliament of an association agreement with Damascus that is to be signed in the autumn. Before she left she sent a letter to the Syrian Embassy recalling the Parliament's request to release two former parliamentarians, Mamun Al Humsi and Riad Seif, currently detained in Syria. The...
