01/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The business affairs indicator in the euro zone fell once again in May 2005, but the rate of decline was less than in previous months. With a fall of 0.09 points, it is above all the components in the indicator, which are involved, particularly the expectations in terms of production orders. The economic confidence indicator for households and business leaders also fell by 0.7 points within the EU25 and by 0.4 points in the euro zone, continuing the downward trend begun in October 2004. Confidence in the services sector improved for the first time this year, while falling in the industrial sector and among consumers.
