01/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Outokumpu Copper Products Oy ('OCP', Finland), currently controlled by Outokumpu Oyj (Finland), by Nordic Capital V L.P.('Nordic Capital', Jersey). The operation is valued at EUR 599 million and was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
