In preparation to the 19th meeting of the EU/Turkey Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) in Istanbul 7-8 July, the new co-president Jan Olsson met Abdulah Gül, Turkish minister for foreign affairs, as well as representatives from organised Turkish civil society.
