UK requests annulment of Council regulation establishing European Border Agency

Luxembourg, 29/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - A few days ahead of the coming into operation of the European Border Agency, foreseen for 1 May 2005, the United Kingdom requested the annulment of Council Regulation 2007/2004 on the establishment of the Agency. The British government noted in its appeal against the Council decision that following the desired annulment of the Regulation, while awaiting the adoption of a new regulation, the measures of Regulation 2007/2004 should continue to apply....
